また本を読み始めることができた、きっかけとなった本です。読みやすく元気をもらえる本でした。
子供欲しい…という気持ちも強くなりました。

This is a nice and heart-warming story about a single mother and her son. Thelma is French and has a 12-year old son, Louis. There are two important things in her life. One is her work and the other is Louis, her beloved son. She works as marketing director in a big cosmetics maker. She is proud of her job and earns enough money to raise Louis. Their lives are ok until something terrible happens. One day, Louis has a serious car accident and becomes comatose. Suddenly, Thelma’s life is collapsed and completely changes. She starts blaming herself, drinks a lot of alcohol, even quits her job. Then, something happens that changes her life. She finds a notebook at Louis’s room. The notebook describes his bucket list. What he wants to do before he dies seems unusual, but Thelma decides to do one by one in the list instead of Louis, hoping that the actions might make Louis wake from coma. First, she goes to Tokyo, then goes to Budapest, et cetera. Gradually, she learns something important through her adventures based on his bucket list. What happens at last? Is Louis able to wake? Well, why do not you read this story if you are interested in the ending?

一気に読み終わった。読みやすいかつ面白い。東京訪れるシーンもあって外人がどう楽しむのかとフムフム。最後のシーンを読んだとき、先をイメージしてない自分に気づき面白いだけでなく考えさせられた。
