"It all started with Barbie" is how Yukiko Chino describes her story from how she graduated from playing with dolls as a little girl to her renewed fascination or obsession with Barbie again as an adult with the beginning and help of online auctions. (Yes! We all know eBay and YJP auctions are truly evil. >D) The book is part journal and part reference book. I'm not a barbie collector but the pictures of her collection are just so attractive that it makes me want to collect her and her friends. I think there is a little bit of Barbie history introduced but not too in-depth.
