I graduated from the university with a degree in architecture a few years ago. I read this book as a mandatory book for architectural students.

This book covered a range of architectural fields, such as drawing skills, and architectural philosophy. Furthermore, "A good designer isn't afraid to throw away a good idea", and "Create architectural richness through informed simplicity" made an impact on me in this book.

I did highlight some impressive words and revisited them again later. It helps me to understand more.

またよみたい！デザインしてて行き詰まったらまた借りたい。

見た目が可愛くて手に取ったら、中身も凄く励まされる内容だった。時間のある時にぺらぺらめくりたいよな。

設計という点を共にする、建築の思考を根本をざっとつかみたかったので読みました。シンプルでわかりやすく素敵な本です。

webサービスやソフトウェアの設計時にも参考になる点は多々あるかと。インターネットの業界は、まだまだ歴史が浅いので、建築などの歴史ある業界で根本の思想が似ている業界の知見をたくさん吸収して還元したいなと思います。

特にこういう点が似てる／設計思想、UI、UX設計、全体感と部分、相互関係の設計などなど

シンプルにまとめられていてオススメ。建築に限らず様々なデザインに応用できると思う。新発見は少なかったが、基本がきれいにまとめられている。デザインは基本が大事だから、何気なく開いたページがきっと役に立つ。
